The agency began its journey in Virginia, home to the first mental health hospital in North America. EVAC was founded to address the need for Community-Based Services, moving care from sterile offices into the homes and neighborhoods of those who need it most.

Integrating Recovery & Medication Management
Mental health does not exist in a vacuum. We expanded into substance abuse recovery and medication management, becoming a "one-stop shop": caseworkers for housing, trainers for social skills, and medical professionals for prescriptions, all under one roof.
New Frontiers in Texas
Eastern Virginia Advanced Care brought its successful Virginia model to Texas, building a strong presence in Houston and Beaumont to serve the Lone Star State's growing, diverse communities.
